I took Nolan to have one year old pictures and I didn't realize that I would have such a hard time picking out pictures. He did such a great job that it was so hard to pick a favorite. Sickness Go Away

It feels like we all have been sick since the beginning of October. I have seen Nolan's doctor more this month than the last three months. We were at the doctor's office every week but two since Nolan's first birthday.

Nolan has had the croup, and ear infection, rosieola and now they think he has strep throat. He has been tested for the flu three times since September 30th. Poor little guy has a hard time sleeping when he is sick. He kept Luis up most of the night last night. He has been on two antibiotics and a steroid. I am not sure how much we can take of the sickness going around.

Luis and I were sick a couple of week ago, along with Nathan and Lexi. One week everyone in the house didn't feel well. I started feeling bad Thursday and am just now feeling a little better. I just want this to pass so that Nolan and the whole family can stop feeling bad.

We are ready to all feel better as soon as possible. Cause when baby gets sick, Mommy and Daddy don't get any rest.

Happy 1st Birthday

Wow has it been a year already? It is crazy to believe that our little boy is a year old. He has been a wonderful addition to our family.

He loves to dance and is starting to sing. He is walking around and really wants to run. There is no keeping him in one place, Daddy misses the cuddling. He is growing so fast, at his 1yr check up he was 21.5 pounds and 30 inches long. Luis says he is tall, which makes me laugh. He wants so badly for Nolan to be 6 ft. tall.Nolan's vocabulary is growing everyday. He is saying Mama, Dada, bye, hello (lo), and is working on saying Nathan ( Na).

Nolan's eyes have been changing daily, they went from blue gray to hazel. I would love to have a brown eyed little boy but I guess we will see. I told Luis that the only part that he got from me has slowly disappeared. He told Nolan "to put the blue back in his eyes, Mommy is getting sad."

We had a Frog Birthday Party for Nolan, with family and friends. Nolan wasn't feeling very well but I think everyone had a wonderful time. Nolan got some wonderful new toys and clothes. We had the best cake in the world, thank you Gina. Luis cooked burger and hot dogs for everyone.

The Monday before his birthday Nolan had a high fever so we went to the Doctor, and ended up going back on his Birthday (Wednesday). Nolan had Rosieola, which is a rash or hives that appear after a high fever. He had a rough week, he wasn't sleeping or eating well. We are so glad that he felt better after a couple of days.

Luis and I no longer have a baby we have a toddler. And we look forward to all the new things that he is going to learn. He is Daddy's little monster, and Mommy's monkey. We love him and look forward to many many years of watching him grow.

A Day at the Zoo

We had a field trip with Lexi to the Riverbank Zoo. Nolan and Lexi had a great day looking at all the animals. Nolan's favorite part was the aquarium, he loved looking at all the fish. Lexi loved spending time with her friends. I loved spending time with the two kids and wish Nathan and Luis could have gone with us, we missed them.

Gymboree Time

Nolan had a great time playing on all the equipment at Gymboree. It took him a while to want to do this by himself, but he finally did it and had a blast. He was climbing up the ladders and crawling through the tunnels. He was interacting with other kids his age. He hasn't spent alot of time with kids his age.

For those of you that don't know what Gymbooree is....It is a Gym for kids ages 0-5 years old. They have special things for every age group. Nolan was climbing through tunnels and sliding down ramps. He had a blast.


Nolan tenía un gran rato el jugar en todo el equipo en Gymboree. Le tardó un rato para querer hacer esto solo, pero él finalmente lo hizo y tenía una ráfaga. Él subía para arriba las escalas y se arrastraba a través de los túneles. Él obraba recíprocamente con otros cabritos su edad. Él hasn' t pasó mucho tiempo con los cabritos su edad.

Para los de usted ese don' t sabe es qué Gymbooree….Es una gimnasia para las edades de los cabritos 0-5 años. Tienen cosas especiales para cada categoría de edad. Nolan subía a través de los túneles y resbalaba abajo de rampas. Él tenía una ráfaga

Falls Park

We took the kids to Falls Park on August 15, 2009. The kids had a blast and loved running around. The kids took lots of pictures. Nathan loved climbing on the rocks and he really wanted in the water. Nolan didn't get to do much, he was confined to his stroller. Lexi was posing for her pictures like a true model. I loved having this special time with my family.

Llevamos a los cabritos al parque de las caídas el 15 de agosto de 2009. Los cabritos tenían una ráfaga y un funcionamiento amado alrededor. Los cabritos tomaron porciones de cuadros. Nathan amó el subir en las rocas y él quiso realmente en el agua. Nolan didn' t consigue hacer mucho, él fue confinado a su cochecito. Lexi presentaba para sus cuadros como un modelo verdadero. Amé el tener de este tiempo especial con mi familia.
